Martine from Teen Church (Filadelfia church in Oslo) tells us a story from the Mission Adventures outreach:
Two others and I were going for a “treasure hunt” in Vienna. We prayed, and God gave us a picture of a lady dressed in red and with lots of curly hair. We walked around in the centre of the city, listening to God for direction. “Where can we find her?” Finally I saw a woman sitting on some stairs, wearing red, and with a head full of curls. I walked up to her and we got into a conversation.
As we were chatting, I felt God speak to me about back pain, so I asked her if she happened to have problems with her back. She did! In fact, she had been struggling with back pain for years.
I asked if I could pray for her, but she said that she didn’t understand what prayer was all about and she didn’t want to be prayed for. I decided to just pray for her in my heart.
Shortly after I started praying (silently) she cried out and said that the back pain was suddenly gone – “How did you do that?!” – she exclaimed.
I told her that it was Jesus that had healed her. “How can I get to know him?” she asked, and there on the street she received Jesus into her heart.
God is moving in Europe!
