6th of March we celebrated the great fact that it has been 5 years since the first Øystein-cd was released out to the world! Songs, carrots, cakes, and coffee beans made this celebration into a real Øystein party!
At 5pm the 6th of March most of the chairs that were set up in the Grimerud barn were filled with excited children and adults. Some would get to meet Øystein live for the first time, for some this would be the 7th time.
The evening was kicked off with a song called "Din tur" (Your turn). Through many more songs, teachings from the Bible, Øystein jokes and competitions we got to share the Gospel to each and everyone who had come to this celebration! And when Øystein was done with his jokes and Chris had preached the Gospel, it was time for a cake party! While all the others enjoyed the tasty cakes, coffee and juice, Øystein stayed faithful to his carrots. After the cakes we thanked God together for the things He has done through the project and heard some testimonies from people who had been touched by the cd:s. We also got to hear what is happening in Fræna and Notodden communes. Liv Ellinor Drejer from Fræna has been giving out Øystein-CD:s to all the people living in the commune while Kirsten from Notodden had shared the CD:s everywhere she had been given permission to do so.
All in all everybody was very happy and satisfied with the celebration. Thank you for everyone who joined and celebrated together with us!
